Graduate Student

I am a PhD student at the Center for Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh. I helped get the brain scan portion of the BABIES project up and running and used to run the MRI scans for BABIES as a project coordinator. In 2017, I left to further study brain development in this exciting age as a graduate student, but I'm happy to continue to collaborate on this remarkable study. My research focuses on frontolimbic brain development in children from infancy to preschool. I find this age group fascinating to study because there is so much change happening in the brain that corresponds to leaps in emotional development and executive function, and there are so many factors that could influence these changes in foundational brain development.
